The KISSlicer home page does not have an up to date manual.

Best I can find is this one:

Gives a pretty good overview of what does what and recommended settings.

      Hello Andrew,

have you succeeded already in slicing something for the dual head?

Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious, but the approach of having the shapes for the two materials in two different STL files does not work for Kisslicer, as Kisslicer places them onto the print bed with a margin distance like when you want to print multiple objects. So you have to offer to kisslicer a STL file with multiple meshes inside and then select the material per mesh. OK, I got that far but then the results that Kisslicer produces are unusable [see my other post with the picture attached], so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

It would be great if someone could post a reference sample of a dual extruder slicing, i.e. the source STL file and the resulting G-code.

      Many thanks in advance,

I don't think this implementation is targeted at printing one object with two different colours.
What it will do is print support columns with a second material at the support/main body interface. So you offer only one stl file and KISSlicer generates the gcode for main body plus support plus an interface plus a wiping column.

However, I do want to print two colours at some time so will work on it - just not now :)
